Acquired in 1997, Signal Mountain Plaza was formerly leased to K-Mart as a single tenant. CRC completed a capital improvement program for the building, as a part of which the roof was replaced and the parking lot was resurfaced in 2007. Finally, CRC completed the purchase of adjacent land in 2011, increasing the total parcel to 15.62 acres (6.32 hectares).

In 2018, Signal Mountain Plaza welcomed two major retailers: Aldi and Tractor Supply. These two retailers anchor the center and occupy around half of the available space.


CRC intends to continue the evolution of Signal Mountain Plaza by adding retailers that can complement the center’s existing tenant mix and further cement its reputation as a major retail destination in the city.
