925 Common Street, New Orleans, Louisiana

925 Common Street is a 353,000 ft(32,800 m2), 14 story building located in the central business district (CBD) of New Orleans. After converting it to rental apartments, branded as 925 Common, CRC has made it into one of downtown New Orleans’ most successful rental properties. In 2016, CRC nearly doubled the size of the project by adding 91 new apartments to the existing 108 apartments in the building.

GOAL

By maintaining our high level of service and expanding our offerings to our residents, CRC will ensure that 925 Common remains the premier residential address in New Orleans.

HISTORY

Purchased as an office and hotel building, CRC successfully converted 925 Common Street into a mixed-use project containing 108 luxury apartment units, a 300 vehicle valet parking garage, and 11,000 ft(1,020 m2) of street level retail/commercial space. The success of the first phase caused CRC to expand its offerings at the property by adding 91 additional apartments, additional commercial space, and a host of new amenities. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, CRC recognized the historic value of the building and placed the building on the National Register of Historic Places prior to the renovation.
